Queen of the Gorgans'

This is another one of my several final college pieces i did from my final project.

Done in watercolour and my favorite of all my relating pieces. I've always seen Medusa with a womans face and thought to do something completly different. Don't ask me how long it took because i ended up reworking over the top of it to create an almost gouache effect in certain areas. I know it took me a long time though and alot of research went into it. I know theres problem areas in it but i think the over effect is quite striking. Whatever the final outcome it was very enjoyable to paint!
